Working Principle Of Multi-point Lock System

Dec 24, 2024 Leave a message

The working principle of multi-point lock system mainly includes the following aspects:

Multi-point lock control technology: Multi-point lock system increases the safety and stability of door body through multiple lock points. These lock points usually include door locks, latches, handles, etc., which can control the locks in multiple directions at the same time, thereby increasing the safety performance of door body.
Mechanical and electronic lock core: Multi-point lock system can be controlled by mechanical or electronic lock core. Mechanical lock core realizes the opening and closing of lock points by turning the key, while electronic lock core controls the opening of lock points by electronic chip and specific card or password.
Supporting function of internal lock body: Multi-point lock system supports door leaf through internal lock body, and multiple lock points are installed inside the lock body. These lock points are controlled by lock core and can be opened or closed automatically at the same time during the process of unlocking and locking. When the key or card controls the lock cylinder to rotate, all the lock points will open at the same time to achieve full opening of the door body; when closing, the lock cylinder returns to its original position, and multiple lock points are automatically locked in to complete the full locking of the door body.

‌Multi-lock linkage interlocking mechanism‌: In some applications, such as vault doors, multi-point lock systems use a multi-lock linkage interlocking mechanism. This mechanism requires that all locks meet the opening conditions at the same time before the door can be opened. For example, the three-lock linkage interlocking mechanism of the vault door includes a mechanical password lock, a time lock, and a biometric lock. The vault door can only be opened when all locks are opened at the same time.

‌Electronic linkage control‌: In modern applications, electronic linkage control is becoming more and more common. Through the electronic control system, the opening status of each lock can be monitored and controlled in real time. When a lock is opened, the electronic control system will immediately update the opening conditions of other locks and ensure that the interlocking relationship between them is maintained.
